The hotel enjoys a truly stunning location, with views over the Pagasitikos gulf. It is just a short walk to the village's main square. Rooms are uniquely decorated, and some boast amazing hilltop views over the bay of Volos. the breakfast buffet offers a good variety of food options to choose from. Friendly staff are always willing to assist.

Hi we enjoyed very much the best hospitality we received from the owner -a very nice lady who took care of all our needs and beyond.she bought us pizza for the night, just because we came to sit on the terrace at 23:00 pm... and the breakfast we had with fresh fruits like melon, pineapple, home baked cakes, was the best we could expect. she also offerred us ouzo on the house when we sat in the unforegttable balcony overlooking the bay with magnificent panorama. this balcony is the best in makrinitza...also the place itself had so much atmosphere and the rooms were so nicely designated, there are books and playing materials around to use-just relax and enjoy. we have been 10 days in greece and the hospitality here was the best we met !
the only thing to know is that are many stairs to reach this heaven place.so take only small valises with what you need. but it sure worth the effort.located on the main center of Makrinitza

We spent our Christmas at this lovely hotel and it was beautiful! The room had an amazing view and the fireplace was cozy and warm. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of items and we loved the local tea they offered. The location was perfect for exploring the charming village and the parking was convenient.
Be prepared for some steps to reach the room, but it's worth it for the stunning view. Unfortunately, the beds were not very comfortable, which made it a bit difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We didn't plan to stay for more than 1 day in Makrinitsa. After staying for 1 night at rge Achontiko Sisilianou hotel, and after meeting the charming woman who runs it, we've decided to pronlong our stay there till the day of our departure. It was more than a perfect vacation!

Unique hotel, ideal location for a tour of Mount Pelion. It is also a unique speciment of the architecture of old mansions on Pelion. There are too many authentic materials and details. Splendid and breathtaking view from the room, the cafe - bar and from all hotel areas. One can see the whole Pagasitikos Gulf, Volos city, the mountain and nearby villages. Very kind, friendly and helpful stuff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!!!

The best view in Pelion! The hotel is recently renovated and it is only 10 minutes away from Volos and 1 minute from Portaria. Relaxing and luxurious environment, high quality and great service. Enormous and really comfortable beds (the best matress ever!) We were to the beach during the day and at night we enjoyed a glass of wine at one of the superb- view yards. Very friendly staff. The best hotel in the area.
